He has been an instructor for the Asia Pacific Tang Soo Do since 1997 and due to his international qualifications not only on the circuits but as a certified referee and judge, has given him the qualities and credentials to be one of Master Washington’s main instructors teaching senior classes at headquarters.
He has been training with the Asia Pacific Tang Soo Do Federation for over 15 years and holds the following qualifications:
- Training Instructor for (C.I.T) levels 1 and 2.
- Accredited International Judge and Referee.
- Certified 4th Degree Master March 2008.
- Qualified Senior First Aid Officer.
- Accredited AVPA Video Producer.
In 2007 as a 3rd degree black belt he won the overall male blackbelt champion at the Asia Pacific International Championships held in Australia.
His personal beliefs and his appreciation of the art of Tang Soo Do are allowing him to pass on the techniques, knowledge, history and philosophies that he has learned as a student under the guidance of his master, to others that follow in the footsteps of the ancient martial arts warriors.
